So much for relaxing
Okay so a friend of mine calls me up a couple days ago and talks me into making 7 dozen cookies for her church for their Christmas bake sale and of course I say yes so last night I start making these cookies (three different kinds) and I have ingredients everywhere and I'm tired as it is and I feel so happy as I slip the first three dozen cookies into the oven; I mean I'm half way done at this point. And then I turn back from the oven and what’s sitting on the counter staring me in the face.
THE BOWL WITH THE FLOUR IN IT!!!
I almost cried.
So I basically had to start again and I didn't finish until 2 last night. I use to find baking so relaxing but I think I now hate it.
On another note- I took my little sister to see the Golden Compass last night and I liked it- it had dusting of Narnia, or Harry Potter even; I love fantasy. And the little girl who plays Lyra it unbelievable- she stole every scene and she commanded attention. Plus Ian McKellen was the voice of the armed bear and I love him!
I suggest everyone see this movie- though I must say it's a little slow for children, its perfect for adults- and if anyone has ever read 1984 by George Orwell this movie will remind you of that book. At least it reminded me of that book- much more then it did about rebelling against the church or whatever people are talking about.
And I want a Daemon- I loved Daniel Craig’s daemon and I wanted Lyra's adorable little daemon.
P.S- I loved Grey's Anatomy on Thursday- and I cried a little when Seth Green's character died. I loved his character and Lexie together and I wanted him to live.
