Ned/Olive [Pushing Daisies]

Ellen Page is an acting God

So I finally saw Juno and OH MY GOD- it is as good as everyone's been saying. Very witty and dry humor (my two favorite things in a movie) and as my subject alludes to Ellen Page knocks it out of the park.

I now have to add Ellen Page to the ever growing list of things that own my soul.

And in the movie- when Juno and her Dad are driving to meet Jennifer Garner’s character and she's starring out the window all I could think was 'Damn- that's my Bella Swan'!

I am now screwed because I am completely convinced that Ellen Page would be a kick-ass Bella Swan and I don't know if I'll be able to see Kristen Stewart in the role at all... which is too bad since I know I should at least give her a chance (I mean I did just sign a petition supporting Robert Pattinson as Edward and should probably offer the same to Kristen), but I've liked Ellen Page for a while and now, after Juno I really, really want her to play Bella. I could really see her as Bella.

Since it's probably not going to happen that way I suppose I'll just have to live with it... or at least try to.

Is there anyone else out there in blogland that goes to bed each night and prays to the movie gods that they don't completely fuck up the Twilight movie (with in turn ruins the magic of the book because the movie will be permanently stuck in your head)? Because as of late I've been doing just that. Anyone else out there? Anyone?

Anyway I'm off to bed- tomorrow is my last sleep-in-day as school starts on Thursday- so I'm trying to get in as much sleep as I possible can.

Oh and resolutions for 2008:
1. Lose weight (technically I've already started this one in September and am proud to say I'm down about 25 pounds but I still feel the need to put it up here).
2. Stop cracking my fingers (this one is going to be hard)
3. Learn to cook (not bake which I'm awesome at- and she's modest too!- but really cook)
4. Make more time to get together with friends instead of seeing them once ever couple of months

Those are the most important (I suppose I SHOULD put 'learn to save money' up there as well but, oh well), and pretty much all I could think of right now but I guess I can always add more resolutions as I go.

Later,
