Lightning in a Bottle

So have I mentioned that my friend is getting married?

What do you guys mean there is no way I could have since I haven't updated in about five months?

Oh! That’s right- I'd been much too lazy to update during the summer and much to busy with school to update now.

I should be doing homework; I'm updating instead.

Back to the subject at hand--- my friend is getting married... in September of '09... she’s twenty-two years old and I love her but I think she is way too young to be getting married.

I can't seem to get over this.

She asked me to be her maid-of-honor.

I said yes.

I still think she is way too young to be getting married.

Now that I got that off my chest.

I've been toying with the idea of writing an Oliver/Chloe fic (Smallville) and I got a very basic, first draft of the first chapter that I was hoping someone would Beta for me. I'm not in a big rush to get it out or anything but I feel like I need some feedback concerning the tone and the feel of the characters- if I'm keeping them in character and all that- plus feedback is helpful in staying away from writers block. Anyway if anyone is up to betaing, please, please, please let me know.

And I just caught up on Stargate: Atlantis.

Someone please tell me what the hell Dr. Keller was thinking telling Ronon she was interested in someone else?

That was disappointing and really not giving me any incentive to finish out the series.

Clearly, I'm not the happiest of people right now.

I think I should get studying- you know, since I'll probably need a future and all.

P.S- I saw a production of Pride and Prejudice the other day which was wonderful. Jane Austen is a god; I'm thinking of re-reading the book for the millionth time. I thought you all might like to know.
 

Okay, so my friends had their baby on Friday and I want to eat him. He is absolutely beautiful, with a crazy amount of hair and really long Mr. Burns’ hands but he is still beautiful. Not that I expected anything less considering how cute their daughter is. I’m going to see him again on Saturday at another friends’ daughter’s 1^st birthday; I can’t believe how fast they grow up.

On another note- I saw Transformers yesterday and what an amazing, kick ass movie- I really don’t understand all the bashing going on about it? Shia Labeouf kicks ass and I have to say that the Australia girl who plays Maggie is brilliant and sooo stunning. I can’t really stand Megan Fox but Rachael Taylor (Maggie) completely made up for her. I suggest that everyone go and see this movie- it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a movie this good. I mean it was two and a half hours long and it didn’t feel like it at all- it was crazy on the edge of your seat the whole time type of movie. Me and my friend like to joke that it's the best damn car commercial we’ve ever seen. lol. I think the last time I saw anything this mind blowing was the first Pirates of the Caribbean.

Oh and if I haven’t mentioned it- I booked my ticket to Las Vegas and I got my Celine Dion ticket’s so it’s all set; no turning back now. If anyone has any advice they’d like to share feel free to comment below.
