Lightning in a Bottle

My, oh my it’s been a while since I last updated. I hope everyone reading this had a wonderful Father’s Day- I did. It was nice and quiet, I had a nice breakfast with my family and we opened gifts and then we had a cake for my sister who turned 7 yesterday. But let me tell you, what a week I had- it started with a card reading on Tuesday (which I might add sounded very very promising for me). Now I know there are a lot of people out there who do not believe in psychics and that’s fine but I am not one of those people. I believe in everything, there is nothing out there that I don’t believe could be true and psychics and everything supernatural I believe. While I was talking with my psychic (one of many) she mentioned to me that she knew for a fact that in a past life she use to be a pirate and so I asked her if she could tell what I use to be in a past life- I’m still more then sure then I am related to royalty in some way (LOL)- and she told me that she actually does past life readings if I was interested in going in for one of those. My, how well she knows me because of course I’m interested so I’ll probably do that sometimes at the beginning of July. 

On Friday I went to a friend’s social, and by went I mean dragged to because I really didn’t want to go but I’m glad I did. I ended up having a blast (met some new people) and I ended up wining like 5 prizes, among them a flat-screen TV and a Pool. Plus I bought these adorable black heels which hurt like a bitch after a while but are soooo stunning so who cares? 

Anyway I decided to spend the day with my little sister on Saturday, kind of for her birthday since her real birthday is on the 17^th and that was Father’s Day. I took her to the Zoo and to Chapters and then to see Nancy Drew- plus I got a new pair of contacts and I managed to fix in returning a book to the library. It was nice just me and her, and by the end of the day she couldn’t seem to keep her eyes open which was even nicer. LOL. 

And now, Monday, I’m back at work- which I hate by the way but at least I’m making money and I have time to kill considering my break is two hours today so I decided to update my journal.

 
Anyhow I got tickets to see Celine Dion in Vegas on the 18^th of August and I’m trying for backstage passes. I don’t need the backstage passes but if I manage to get them then score. I really can’t wait to go to Vegas- I’m booking my tickets next week (though I should have booked then a couple weeks ago since they are about 100$ more now). If anyone out there has any suggestions on what other shows I should take in or anything else I must do while in Vegas feel free to let me know. Quick question, does anyone know of any really good care readers in Vegas? My cousin and I really really want to go to one while we’re out there.
